Meet Frank, a Client Specialist at 180 Medical

Frank, tell us about an average day for you as a Client Specialist here.

I’ve been with 180 Medical for over eight years now, and my days are anything but average. Since Spanish is my first language, my position has evolved over time to help out our Spanish-speaking customers as well as other employees in various positions within the company when my language skills are needed. Mainly, I speak with our customers and help set up and manage their accounts. I help them with their medical supply orders and try to find solutions and the right products for each individual. I answer questions, relay information, and coordinate daily with other departments within 180 Medical. All of this is to make sure we’re doing our absolute best for each customer and their health.

Since I work mostly with Spanish speakers, I take it upon myself to try to help them as much as possible, especially since most of them have experienced miscommunications with other companies due to the language barrier.

What’s one of your accomplishments at 180 Medical that makes you feel proud?

One of my proudest and most unexpected moments was when I received the Spirit Award. This award is voted on by fellow co-workers, and it is given to those who show integrity, innovation, thoughtfulness, and a positive attitude. In addition to the recognition and the trophy, I also got the special reserved parking spot for Spirit Award winners near the front of the building for the whole quarter. During the winter months, that was definitely an added bonus!
