Over the weekend, 180 Medical attended the 2014 No Boundaries Expo at the State Fair Grounds in Oklahoma City. Plus, we are proud to be a Gold Sponsor of this special event. Check out the details about this annual event below!
About the 2014 No Boundaries Expo in OKC
NeuroResources, a chapter of the National Spinal Cord Injury Association, presented the No Boundaries Expo Event. This great organization focuses on advocacy and support for people with paralysis and spinal cord injuries, as well as neurological disabilities. They offer various specialized resources, including a free clinic every Monday afternoon from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Plus, they provide a helpful Equipment Share Program for people with financial difficulties.
This year’s Expo had a wealth of resources, showcases, workshops, and fun. Attendees can make special connections with others in the community while learning about new research and products that can improve their quality of life.
Over 75 organizations had showcases at this event, including adaptive sporting programs such as wheelchair basketball, sled hockey, and more. Additionally, attendees could watch adaptive performances like adaptive dance and adaptive karate. We also got to see presentations about new adaptive equipment. 180 Medical also showcased some of the top catheter supplies for people with conditions that affect the bladder.
It was a day full of fun and learning for everyone who attended. We certainly had a blast there, as always. Also, it was great to see such a wonderful turnout this year! We hope you can make it to next year’s event!
