180 Medical Participates in 2011 MS Walk

180 Medical recently participated in the 2011 MS Walk, benefitting the National MS Society and people living with multiple sclerosis.

Multiple sclerosis affects many people in our lives. In addition, many of the customers we serve live with MS. 180 Medical employees, as well as their friends and family, joined on Saturday, April 3rd, in Oklahoma City to walk in the 2011 MS Walk.

About the 2011 MS Walk

The MS Walk is an annual event that takes place across the country to help raise awareness along with critical funds for research and services to support those with Multiple Sclerosis.

Here are some pictures from the event!

We all had a great time supporting a wonderful cause.

What is Multiple Sclerosis?

Multiple Sclerosis is a disorder where the body’s immune system begins to attack the myelin sheath surrounding nerves. This can cause nerve damage and disrupts communication between the brain and body.

The resulting symptoms can include vision difficulties, fatigue, difficulty walking or moving limbs, and more. Also, some people with multiple sclerosis experience neurogenic bladder. This may lead to the need for incontinence supplies. However, many people also need to use catheters to drain their bladder.

180 Medical is proud to serve customers all across America who need catheter supplies.
